SimpleDOX Minimum System Requirements

SimpleDOX requires a system of at least the following specification:

• Operating System (One of the following)
  • Windows 2000 with SP4
  • Windows XP with SP2
  • Windows Server 2000
  • Windows Server 2003
• Memory (RAM)
  • 512 MB Minimum
  • 1 GB Recommended (Having more will improve performance)
• Disk Space (Storage)
  • 50 MB Minimum for Installation
  • Will need more space depending on the amount of images scanned. Generally, a Black and White page will require ~30 KB of Storage Space.
• Disk Configuration
  • Though there is no requirement, iScan recommends a RAID 1 or RAID 5 configuration so that the Mirroring Capabilities will provide additional data loss prevention.
• Internet Access
  • Any access required at a minimum
  • Broadband access recommended
• Scanner
  • Any TWAIN Compatible Scanner Required (Uncertified scanners are not guaranteed to function)
  • A scanner from our certified scanner list recommended
